Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Severo Labora came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Labora kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 6 minute of play. Modesto Farto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play. When Made in Paraguay's Severo Labora in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Farto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iztal Autran hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Iztal Autran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Mendialdura kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Evaristo Mendialdura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Farto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes of play, Made in Paraguay's Severo Labora made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Martinez Cardenas fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Made in Paraguay's protests and gave Martinez Cardenas a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Martinez Cardenas.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Made in Paraguay's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Farto came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Sagasti got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cresencio Felpeto. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Modesto Farto made a huge save. Iztal Autran hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Made in Paraguay's Iztal Autran got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Iztal Autran off the ground. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Iztal Autran got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes in the game Severo Labora did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cresencio Felpeto. Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Made in Paraguay from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Modesto Farto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The supporters of Made in Paraguay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nahia Gago in the 93rd minute of play. Made in Paraguay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
