Yader Villavedon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ma&Lu Futbol Club booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jiří Kudla was the one to do the kick off. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Aribau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Kudla in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ma&Lu Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Yader Villavedon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. The Ma&Lu Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
