Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Santino Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Saturnino Romo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-1. 24 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Saturnino Romo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Portillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 43 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Humberto Cordera put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Jerzy Marchefka replaced Saturnino Romo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Ezequiel Lavezzi replaced Edelmiro Moise. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Enrique Aureo made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. After 62 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Lavezzi. If Jerzy Marchefka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Jerzy Marchefka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Jerzy Marchefka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Jerzy Marchefka took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luis Frisco hit a great ball. Joshua Garrido made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Luis Frisco. Colombia's attentive Orlando Tafalla managed to snatch the ball when Dedê Donatello made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Dedê Donatello got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
