Dalmacio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmacio Paublo. Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Etxahun in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonio Etxahun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Andres Goiz made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Borja, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Anjullan AFC's Antonio Etxahun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 45th play minute Miguel Borja came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Etxahun in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Dalmacio Paublo managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 62 minutes into the game, Andres Goiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjullan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 62 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Goiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Borja in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Benat in the 92nd minute of play. Amancio Benat scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Anjullan AFC were the better team. Anjullan AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
