Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. A collision led to The Alliance getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sven Söderberg hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, The Alliance's Sven-Erik Högberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Baran Bilge Ulusoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, The Alliance's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Evert Offendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sven-Erik Högberg sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 36 minutes into the game, Andreas Bure was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Alliance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Alliance's Sven-Erik Högberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasper Hermansson. The Alliance's Baran Bilge Ulusoy got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baran Bilge Ulusoy's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Högberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When Sven-Erik Högberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Benito Sanz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Hermansson in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of The Alliance booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Sven-Erik Högberg made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Sven-Erik Högberg put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 78th minute, Sven-Erik Högberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasper Hermansson went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. The Alliance's Andreas Nordmark was substituted for Valter Rosin. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Bilge Ulusoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a The Alliance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Alliance had played much better football throughout.
