Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Radoman Karaičić made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Salvador Gisbert made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić managed to reach the ball for a save. When Salvador Gisbert, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Staniša Šorgić was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Radoman Karaičić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staniša Šorgić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoman Karaičić in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoman Karaičić in the 20th minute of play. Staniša Šorgić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoman Karaičić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Radoman Karaičić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Bjelić made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoman Karaičić, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Bjelić to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thornhill City the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Staniša Šorgić was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Thornhill City made a substitution. Ninoslav Mijanović replaced Radoman Karaičić. Thornhill City made a substitution. Siniša Ognjanović replaced Dejan Jovanić. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ninoslav Mijanović went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ninoslav Mijanović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staniša Šorgić having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ninoslav Mijanović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Thornhill City had won after a very even match.
