Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Valiente Venezian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. After 39 minutes, William de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cercadinho and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. William de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Abdulkadir Turay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdulkadir Turay really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Mugurel Zota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Zota having to interfere. William de Castro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valiente Venezian in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Walmir Pirani hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mugurel Zota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Jailson Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cercadinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cercadinho made a substitution. Edmundo Aparecido replaced Ulf Bergqvist. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Venezian, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute, William de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Cercadinho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
