Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Horacio Silvino kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Bogumil Burowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mazorca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Ubendu in the 4th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bogumil Burowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mazorca's goalkeeper Karol Kluczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Horacio Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Horacio Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kluczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Kluczyk having to interfere. Karol Kluczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. Horacio Silvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced La Mazorca's goalkeeper Karol Kluczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, La Mazorca's Horacio Silvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when La Mazorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes La Mazorca got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Peyo. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Silvino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Mazorca booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Benedicto Afonso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. La Mazorca's Karol Kluczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save La Mazorca from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a La Mazorca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alvaro Galsino hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karol Kluczyk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karol Kluczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Karol Kluczyk made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Burowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. La Mazorca's Raul Tristan was substituted for Mårten Svartengren. In the 85th minute La Mazorca were awarded a corner. Bernardo Ubendu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bernardo Ubendu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Horacio Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Horacio Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karol Kluczyk having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but La Mazorca were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
