Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Léo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Nildo Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Iuri Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Sampaio having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match, Nildo Chaves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute Iuri Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Coutinho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nildo Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Léo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Décio Veiga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 41st minute Iuri Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Sampaio came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nildo Chaves made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Cardozo in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Sampaio saved COURO COME FC from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Cardozo in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Nildo Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Iuri Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Iuri Cardozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Chaves in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Léo Sampaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 89th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Venezuela's Camilo Gaos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 92 played minutes, COURO COME FC's Hieronim Rosiewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COURO COME FC reached it. When COURO COME FC's Iuri Cardozo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Geovani Coutinho hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
