But to his dismay, Hans Otterlei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 28th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Cosa Nostra's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Delfino came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Delfino. Joel Delfino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hans Otterlei scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Monty Rogers took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Joel Delfino to make any attempt to save it. In the 63rd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 66th minute of the match. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Abelardo Alvarez replaced Jairo Boniel. La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen was substituted for Hans Otterlei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Bizen in the 72nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of USA booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Hodge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Marciano Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. After 78 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tytus Lepper who took care of the corner kick. In the 80th minute, Marciano Bizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. Joel Delfino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sam Campbell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 85 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 87th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino. Joel Delfino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 96th minute of play. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
