Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Guanacos's Eustacio Lamberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ernesto Juvenal hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Guanacos's Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Feliberto Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Iago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Iago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Iago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Iago having to interfere. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Iago having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Casimiro Iago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Guanacos's Casimiro Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Juan Sebastián Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guanacos's Casimiro Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casimiro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casimiro Iago. Guanacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Felix Montes with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 42 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Guanacos's Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Iago having to make a save. Agustín Saelices succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 56th playminute. 59 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casimiro Iago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Casimiro Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Casimiro Iago to make any attempt to save it. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Cristian Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Casimiro Iago in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Iago made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casimiro Iago. That made the score 0-14 in the 75 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Casimiro Iago in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Iago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Andino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casimiro Iago came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Andino slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 82nd minute. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-17 in the 85th playminute. 89 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goalkeeper Casimiro Iago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Casimiro Iago in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-18 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Iago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guanacos.
