An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Intxixu in the 24th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Intxixu in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Djamel Autret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Pocock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fumo Pocock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Autret in the 60th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oshyros ll's Fumo Pocock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Oshyros ll from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Isaac Intxixu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Intxixu in the 71st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Fumo Pocock made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Oshyros ll's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fumo Pocock came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Oshyros ll booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Djamel Autret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Fumo Pocock in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Marotte in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Oshyros ll's Fumo Pocock. Fumo Pocock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
