Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Olof Vestlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Sven-Olof Vestlund put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. 9 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Şefik Karadağ. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Tecimen in the 14th minute of play. When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Scheie. CAN ERZURUM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Arda Turan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of play. Joar Scheie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Joar Scheie in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Atabek Tecimen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 63rd minute of the match. Sven-Olof Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pan Wei Quan during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Pan Wei Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Pan Wei Quan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Wei Quan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
