Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Damazy Biegun made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Bermudez in the 94th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
