Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of play. The throw-in from Santiago Aureo in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. Joar Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAN ERZURUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Şefik Karadağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Joar Scheie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund managed to work through Chile's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sven-Olof Vestlund dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Şefik Karadağ in the 34th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 41 minutes, Rolando Betadur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAN ERZURUM and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, one of CAN ERZURUM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CAN ERZURUM:s Joar Scheie showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Lacasa:s penalty. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joar Scheie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Santiago Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 61stth minute. Though ot was a great shot CAN ERZURUM's keeper Joar Scheie was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Şefik Karadağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Scheie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Joar Scheie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Seyhun Orus replaced Arda Turan. CAN ERZURUM's Pan Wei Quan was substituted for Okanalp Doğu. 85 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Scheie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Corrêa went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
