The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Peru played a much better game than Golden Lions FC and deserved their victory. The Golden Lions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
