An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Enekoitz in the 5th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Abad made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Michal Stehno sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Stehno. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Clodoveo Orlin with Máximo Kirchner as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lebigot in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Unidad de Matanza's Nicasio Abad threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Máximo Kirchner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökçe Yalazalp to maneuver through the defense. Kosmas Banasopoulos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Eguzki. Jonatan Eguzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Pietro Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Eguzki. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Eguzki should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicasio Abad. That made the score 1-2 after 46 minutes of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Stehno was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 56th minute of play. 2-2 became the score in the 57th minute when Michal Stehno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Isidro Oliviero was substituted for Pietro Salles. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Nestor Bâru replaced Martin Grøtterud. Unidad de Matanza's Lateef Raal was substituted for Máximo Kirchner. Unidad de Matanza's Lotfi Ziadi was substituted for Michal Stehno. Nestor Bâru took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Timoteo Fiz made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidro Oliviero however managed to control. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Saturno in the 78th minute of play. When Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalie prevented a goal. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 84th minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Unidad de Matanza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Enekoitz took the corner. The corner ended in Alonzo Gomesano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki did a great save. After 86 minutes Unidad de Matanza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Enekoitz who took care of the corner kick. 90 minutes into the game, Timoteo Fiz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Unidad de Matanza's Lateef Raal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lateef Raal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lotfi Ziadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Lateef Raal hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
