In the 10th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 11th minute of the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Constancio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Medina in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Marciano Orlondon got a free kick in the 35th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match Real Racing Club got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Lixandro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Medina to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Eusebio Odol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Odol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Oscar Constancio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ivan Ferman made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marciano Orlondon however managed to control. In the 77thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Racing Club's Oscar Constancio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Medina in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Oscar Constancio made a huge save. With a little luck, Real Racing Club's Oscar Constancio got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
