Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 6th minute. László Tihanyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes in the game Lóránd Vörös did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tosh Burns. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when László Tihanyi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Dunixi having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, László Tihanyi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute of the match Patricio Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Dunixi skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play forced Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell László Tihanyi to make the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 57th minute László Tihanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Anselmo Dunixi however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Gölle EAC's Victor Van Houdtvin got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when László Tihanyi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Capuozzi in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 79th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped László Tihanyi:s penalty. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anselmo Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gusztáv Bánhegyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gusztáv Bánhegyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Lóránd Vörös with Tosh Burns as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
