Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Conte having to interfere. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 20th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Davide Conte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davide Conte. Alba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Di Iorio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Conte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Davide Conte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Conte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Davide Conte made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Marzulli to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Stumpo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Alba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Stumpo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alba FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Davide Conte didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Conte having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
