Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tístran Bjargmundarson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiljan Valbergsson in the 10th minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Sváfnir Hásteinsson came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 21 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Kiljan Valbergsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Kiljan Valbergsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Kiljan Valbergsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kiljan Valbergsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jóann Sindrason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 37th minute of play forced Crystals's goalkeeper Sváfnir Hásteinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jóann Sindrason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jóann Sindrason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fólki Ásgeirsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Crystals's Sváfnir Hásteinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kiljan Valbergsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crystals's goalkeeper Sváfnir Hásteinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tístran Bjargmundarson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crystals's Kiljan Valbergsson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sváfnir Hásteinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Crystals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiljan Valbergsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Kiljan Valbergsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jóann Sindrason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Crystals's Jóann Sindrason. But to his dismay, Jóann Sindrason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
