With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georges-Philippe Kissinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, KARŞIYAKA's Gürsel Bağcı got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gürsel Bağcı sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges-Philippe Kissinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Georges-Philippe Kissinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Emir Ülken in the 59th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes in the game Ivan Navarro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa.
