After some careless play in the Doffes Damer defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Fanström. Gabriel Fanström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Fanström could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Braa in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Barrera went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Inge Braa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Braa in the 94th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Inge Braa sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego.
