The score was now 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Juvenal da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandinense ADF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Burak Özdoğan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play. Burak Özdoğan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Burak Özdoğan could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute Sandinense ADF were awarded a corner. Sílvio Luiz Tasso went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Burak Özdoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Sandinense ADF's Hubert Wallmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Özdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burak Özdoğan in the 61st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes, Camilo Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Sandinense ADF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burak Özdoğan in the 66th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Sandinense ADF's Burak Özdoğan made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hubert Wallmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Wallmark ran back to his position shaking his head.
