Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Herbert Sempels got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carel Van de Schrieck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Herbert Sempels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Café DE PLOEG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Sempels. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Herbert Sempels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Sempels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Café DE PLOEG's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Van de Schrieck came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Kloots came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Kloots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Kloots in the 20th minute of the match. Oliver Dejonckheere hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Café DE PLOEG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Carel Van de Schrieck despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carel Van de Schrieck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carel Van de Schrieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Kloots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Café DE PLOEG were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bóas Goethals took the corner. Bóas Goethals made a great header on Café DE PLOEG's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jendry Sambuaga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Rebec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Sempels in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Café DE PLOEG's Herbert Sempels in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Café DE PLOEG from getting a goal against them. Carel Van de Schrieck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludwig Kloots in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Rebec. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Café DE PLOEG throughout the match.
