Benjamin Cuss made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Maximilian Ekberg sent off a good shot on target. When Pelle Sander came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Skog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Sander couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Goo Goo Dolls booed when Skog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluca Infante scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witomir Werra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Witomir Werra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Goo Goo Dolls were awarded a corner. Gianluca Infante went to the cornerflag to take it. Witomir Werra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Mangione in the 24th minute of play. Witomir Werra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Lane in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Skog's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lane came free, but Witomir Werra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Werra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Felix Lane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witomir Werra. Skog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Lane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cacá Mangione scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witomir Werra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gianluca Infante during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Witomir Werra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Mangione made a kick off. Cacá Mangione's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witomir Werra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Mangione in the 55th minute of play forced Skog's goalkeeper Witomir Werra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skog's Witomir Werra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 56th minute of play. Witomir Werra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Mangione in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Skog's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Mangione came free, but Witomir Werra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximilian Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goo Goo Dolls's Kenny Anson was substituted for Dom Rusby. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Mangione in the 66th minute of play forced Skog's goalkeeper Witomir Werra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Werra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Lane went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witomir Werra. Witomir Werra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Skog's Witomir Werra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Skog from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Cacá Mangione ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witomir Werra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Witomir Werra was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Cacá Mangione capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cacá Mangione really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Witomir Werra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 82nd minute of the match. Witomir Werra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cacá Mangione showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 82 minute of play. Witomir Werra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Lane in the 86th minute of play. Cacá Mangione had several of the Skog's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Witomir Werra as he didn't even see the shot coming. 90 minutes into the game, Matteo Gillis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skog's Magnus Frisck quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Felix Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Witomir Werra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goo Goo Dolls played a much better game than Skog and deserved their victory. The Skog players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
