MACUMBA's Manga Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save MACUMBA from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, MACUMBA's Mazinho Correia got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Resulhan Ulvi. Resulhan Ulvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Manga Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manga Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Pogea's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resulhan Ulvi got free with Manga Santos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Doru Pogea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manga Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes MACUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson da Silva who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th match minute, TEIXEIRINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Abreu to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Simeone came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manga Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Pogea in the 47th minute of play. After the first half MACUMBA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

MACUMBA made a substitution. Flann Flack replaced Josué Quintal. The audience was convinced that Doru Pogea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manga Santos was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of TEIXEIRINHA FC booed when MACUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Manga Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Doni das Neves made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Flann Flack sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute, MACUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Simeone to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Anderson da Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manga Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TEIXEIRINHA FC reached it. The TEIXEIRINHA FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doru Pogea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77thth minute of the game Doru Pogea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MACUMBA's Manga Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When TEIXEIRINHA FC's Resulhan Ulvi in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MACUMBA's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Pogea in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manga Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mazinho Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Agostinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agostinho das Neves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes TEIXEIRINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho das Neves. In the 92nd minute of the match Giovanni Simeone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni das Neves skillfully saved the ball. Doru Pogea struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Manga Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEIXEIRINHA FC. TEIXEIRINHA FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
