Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amancio Bilintx got the match started through his kick off. Manga Santos was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Tadeo Jakobe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Jakobe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Newell´s's Amancio Bilintx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manga Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MACUMBA's Manga Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save MACUMBA from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Newell´s booed when MACUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Bilintx. Amancio Bilintx's late challenge caught a MACUMBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Bilintx helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Bilintx hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cristobal Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Bilintx in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manga Santos saved MACUMBA from getting behind. After 29 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Tayyar Canbolat. 33 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Jakobe came free, but Manga Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MACUMBA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wilson Mineiro hit a great ball. Indiana Turban struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Manga Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newell´s. Manga Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Bilintx went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Manga Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Bilintx in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Amancio Bilintx notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of MACUMBA's Manga Santos. Manga Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flann Flack made a kick off. MACUMBA's Manga Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Bilintx in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Amancio Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flann Flack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cristobal Estavan made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, MACUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Paes to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Indiana Turban shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manga Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When MACUMBA's Flann Flack in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newell´s's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Flann Flack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Estavan was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Manga Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Flann Flack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manga Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Bilintx's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 73 minutes MACUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Indiana Turban who took care of the corner kick. Mattias Wallengren hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Giovanni Simeone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Estavan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Bilintx in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manga Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vivaldo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. MACUMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cristobal Estavan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manga Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Tadeo Jakobe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newell´s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Amancio Bilintx sped through MACUMBA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manga Santos. Many of MACUMBA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. MACUMBA may have spent more time on the ball, but Newell´s were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
