Clayton Pelezinho charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clayton Pelezinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clayton Pelezinho was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Clayton Pelezinho hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Skog's goalkeeper Witomir Werra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Barbosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Capixaba in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witomir Werra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clayton Pedron was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 23rdth minute of the game Genílson da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skog's Witomir Werra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Charles Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Werra having to interfere. The supporters of C o n f i a n ç a - SE booed when Skog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Sander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Clayton Pedron got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Witomir Werra handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Per-Åke Johansson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Clayton Pedron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Werra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Johansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C o n f i a n ç a - SE's zone, Pelle Sander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Carioca came out of the goal and Pelle Sander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Charles Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Werra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skog's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charles Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time C o n f i a n ç a - SE's players had a chance to rest. Rudolf Öberg thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Witomir Werra, a very annoying self made goal in the 57th minute which led to 2-0. Skog's Witomir Werra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 60th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Clayton Pedron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skog's Witomir Werra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charles Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Witomir Werra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witomir Werra having to make a save. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Johansson in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Skog getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Per Lindholm hit a great ball. Clayton Pedron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
