The referee ignored MC ESPANHOL's protests and gave Máximo Palma a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes MC ESPANHOL got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Palma. 15 minutes into the match, MC ESPANHOL's goalkeeper Teófilo Belém had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Poyraz Sunay. A collision led to MC ESPANHOL getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Máximo Palma hit a great ball. Teófilo Belém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Portalupi in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Virgílio Serpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Sourpis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, MC ESPANHOL's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Portalupi came free, but Teófilo Belém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Evenhuis in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Argoitz got free with Teófilo Belém in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chester Bennington's Kauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Sourpis in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Portalupi in the 37th minute of play forced MC ESPANHOL's goalkeeper Teófilo Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, MC ESPANHOL's Teófilo Belém got control of the ball when Artemio Argoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MC ESPANHOL getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. João Gomes hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, MC ESPANHOL's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Mager came free, but Teófilo Belém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Portalupi to make the kick off. Teófilo Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Portalupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
