Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Cavallino Rampante II's Ivo Oja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ivo Oja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, Cavallino Rampante II's Ubaldo Gonzales made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Gonzales in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Jonas Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ernesto Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ernesto Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Cavallino Rampante II's Ivo Oja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Ivo Oja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ernesto Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ivo Oja made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Gonzales in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Candido Garin who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Fe having to interfere. After 60 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Candido Garin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Cavallino Rampante II's Jonas Olivar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 65th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cavallino Rampante II booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cavallino Rampante II's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Fe came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Candido Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cavallino Rampante II from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ivo Oja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Oja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cavallino Rampante II had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
