When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leigh Blakeley sped through Pensioners 2.0's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Davey Curtis. 2-0 became the score in the 5th minute when Leigh Blakeley elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Vincent Gardner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floodish FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Paddy McNeish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floodish FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paddy McNeish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Leigh Blakeley put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Davey Curtis. When Leigh Blakeley in the 22nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Davey Curtis kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pensioners 2.0's goalkeeper Davey Curtis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leigh Blakeley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davey Curtis having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonia Fessey during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pensioners 2.0 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Antonia Fessey hit a great ball. Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Pensioners 2.0 from getting a goal against them. Borys Oliszewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davey Curtis came out and tried to block the shot, but Borys Oliszewski slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 36th minute. If Paddy McNeish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leigh Blakeley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Davey Curtis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Leigh Blakeley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Borys Oliszewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Davey Curtis. That made the score 8-0 in the 45 minute of play.
Theo McNeish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davey Curtis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo McNeish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Theo McNeish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davey Curtis was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 59th minute, Antonia Fessey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Leigh Blakeley notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis. Davey Curtis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Leigh Blakeley put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Davey Curtis. After a rather tough play, Pensioners 2.0's Berry Pickhills got a free kick in the 69th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Borys Oliszewski led 69 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 13-0. In the 73rd minute, Vincent Gardner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floodish FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. 77 minutes into the match, Pensioners 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Leigh Blakeley came free, but Davey Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davey Curtis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leigh Blakeley went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Leigh Blakeley put it in 16-0 from a short distance just to the right of Davey Curtis. In the 89th minute Leigh Blakeley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davey Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 17-0 when Leigh Blakeley sped through Pensioners 2.0's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Davey Curtis. The supporters of Floodish FC booed when Pensioners 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonia Fessey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Floodish FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
