Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Gaspar Ishmael dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-0. Napoleon Klewinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sylwester Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Napoleon Klewinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Panama got a corner. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alex Cambeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Napoleon Klewinski did a great save. After 20 played minutes FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Lindqvist. In the 26th minute, FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Sylwester Fink dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Ishmael got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes of play, FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Sylwester Fink made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Lindqvist. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Karl-Michael Lindqvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gaspar Ishmael made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Ishmael in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. In the 55th minute Karl-Michael Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Lindqvist in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Ishmael in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Basarab Pătru was substituted for Karl-Michael Lindqvist. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Mircea Boerescu was substituted for Gaspar Ishmael. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Basarab Pătru. But to his dismay, Basarab Pătru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Pătru in the 77th minute of the match. After 78th play minutes Lucrețiu Ţirpescu shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Marcos Cotilla and just under the crossbar into goal. Basarab Pătru scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Deliman. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Napoleon Klewinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV from getting a goal against them. Panama were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Basarab Pătru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
