Charlie Boström took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aírton de Lima. Aírton de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Renan Melo made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Válbson de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Válbson de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Renan Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Charlie Boström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aírton de Lima was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Hussein Faraj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Bergsten came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Roman Koenig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Boström in the 34th minute of play. Válbson de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Melo having to interfere. When Roman Koenig came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the A.A. Francana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Koenig couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Elliott Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Boström's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson de Alcântara made a kick off. Joel Campos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aírton de Lima firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 54thth minute of the game Charlie Boström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Válbson de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Melo came out of the goal and Válbson de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Koenig in the 60th minute of the match. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Motta Futebol Clube's Otávio Maranhense was substituted for Dudu Hermes. Francisco Secco, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima got control of the ball when Roman Koenig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Motta Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 77 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Artur Sabóia. In the 78th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Elliott Bergsten notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima. Aírton de Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Erik Souza hit a great ball. When Danilo Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Arantes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Motta Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 90th minute of play. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 92nd minute of the match. The Motta Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.A. Francana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
