The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Novos Troncos. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Musko made a kick off. The supporters of Novos Troncos booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Walery Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santo Incera. The goal made the score 2-2. 59 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Musko came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Santo Incera in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
