Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Várdomb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Marino should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marciano Marino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Marino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marciano Marino. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marciano Marino could save by the left post. In the 90th match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neymar Da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marciano Marino to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Várdomb.
