Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hieronim Boruta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bastion Juźkowa's Hieronim Boruta to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bastion Juźkowa were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hieronim Boruta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hieronim Boruta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Grigoris Charalambidis came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bastion Juźkowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoris Charalambidis couldn't finish the play. Grigoris Charalambidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Grigoris Charalambidis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastion Juźkowa. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Charalambidis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigoris Charalambidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Grigoris Charalambidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Charalambidis in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigoris Charalambidis. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Charalambidis in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigoris Charalambidis to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Charalambidis in the 53rd minute of play. When Bastion Juźkowa's Grigoris Charalambidis in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
