In the 25th minute of the match Lokomotiv Sick-Sack got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Earl Grey ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Henry Salkvist. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack made a substitution. Patrik Wahlström replaced He Kuan Ning. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Salkvist in the 52nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack had played much better football throughout.
