Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cityzens Mdz getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Zaid Paker hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Damaso Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Damaso Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced Cityzens Mdz's goalkeeper Melkior Thorslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Lain. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Damaso Lain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cityzens Mdz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hillar Tuus in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hillar Tuus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melkior Thorslev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Melkior Thorslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Melkior Thorslev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Doroteo Arango in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cityzens Mdz's goalkeeper Melkior Thorslev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melkior Thorslev having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melkior Thorslev saved Cityzens Mdz from getting behind. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cityzens Mdz from getting a goal against them. When Doroteo Arango fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cityzens Mdz's protests and gave Doroteo Arango a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Cityzens Mdz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doroteo Arango to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkior Thorslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Damaso Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cityzens Mdz's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A sloppy throw-in by Emmanuel Reyes in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cityzens Mdz's Henning Sander. Melkior Thorslev was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 96th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkior Thorslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cityzens Mdz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
