After 16 minutes Curumalán AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Du Feng Kun who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Anibal Molina hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Guo Xiong Ning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Ekaitz struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Reno Idiaquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. With a little luck, Mandrake fc's Reno Idiaquez got control of the ball when Esequiel Barco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lin Mo Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubim Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reno Idiaquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esequiel Barco in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mandrake fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Ekaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Curumalán AFC's players had a chance to rest. Romulo Ekaitz made a great header on Curumalán AFC's corner, it was just that Mandrake fc's Reno Idiaquez managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Barco in the 37th minute of play forced Mandrake fc's goalkeeper Reno Idiaquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reno Idiaquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esequiel Barco's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubim Peralta to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Rubim Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandrake fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubim Peralta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reno Idiaquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esequiel Barco in the 56th minute of play. Emmanuel Gigliotti took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reno Idiaquez. Reno Idiaquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mandrake fc made a substitution. Tomás Abancens replaced Ken Weynants. In the 65th minute Esequiel Barco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reno Idiaquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lin Mo Hong came out of the goal and Barto Radaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Esequiel Barco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reno Idiaquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
