Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sven Appenzeller made the kick off and thus started the match. Rufus Bangert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerd Della who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Appenzeller in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odo Uedickoven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Chile's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven Appenzeller fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Tammo Wunderlich threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Jose Manzanedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Bangert came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Appenzellers short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rufus Bangert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Bangert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Sven Appenzeller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Eberl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Nils Hopp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Appenzeller, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rufus Bangert made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rufus Bangert. Großberghofen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 66th minute Sven Appenzeller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Appenzeller, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes of play, Großberghofen's Irmin Michalsky made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Appenzeller in the 77th minute of play. Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Großberghofen from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odo Uedickoven in the 89th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Tammo Wunderlich in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Alan Tamayo. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
