Faiz Peng was slow to take the kick. During this time Coice de Mula's players had a chance to rest. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Valentin Voicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Voicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Orange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coice de Mula's Per-Oskar Kihlberg was substituted for Romário Custódio. The Coice de Mula players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VILLARREAL UNITED were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Téo Massa was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Coice de Mula's Téo Massa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baraxil Sarrate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Massa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baraxil Sarrate saved VILLARREAL UNITED from getting behind. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlitos Paredes hit a great ball. VILLARREAL UNITED's Gert Vesterberg was substituted for Hustaz Quijana. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Nofre Madariaga replaced Florian Pruss. Valentin Voicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Orange. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Voicu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Coice de Mula's zone, Valentin Voicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Orange came out of the goal and Valentin Voicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluigi Orange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo Massa during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Téo Massa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The VILLARREAL UNITED supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VILLARREAL UNITED would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
