An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Willison in the 25th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Vellito. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Willison in the 31st minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 33rd minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Vellito having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Shuspendemo's Mikolaj Biraga was substituted for Brooks Willison. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Lara was the one to do the kick off. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Lara in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shuspendemo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prospero Perfecto was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville United - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Elberg As was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Vellito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 82nd minute Maurício Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Shuspendemo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Schiacciacasse to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Perfecto, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alesandro Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville United - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Alesandro Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Joinville United - FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
