Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Vasilescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Pedro Celipe fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAXI-MM-'s protests and gave Pedro Celipe a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in TAXI-MM- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Joel Gaona shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jacek Krzynowek took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the TAXI-MM- defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Alexa. The TAXI-MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Alexa should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Martin Alexa. TAXI-MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 79th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Martin Alexa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 90th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TAXI-MM- booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 99 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacek Krzynowek who took care of the corner kick. Costel Vasilescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
