In the 8th match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pudes Vilas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pudes Vilas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Papardelas saved Piquirenda FC from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by 麦翀瑜. Didi Papardelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pudes Vilas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Alianza Trujillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Kabasele didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jilian Oosters came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Piquirenda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jilian Oosters couldn't finish the play. Didi Papardelas was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Fermin Donzel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fermin Donzel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With his leg Didi Papardelas managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Alianza Trujillo's Cayetano Montez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Severiano Ibañez replaced Cayetano Lluciano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Bernal to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bernal in the 53rd minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 54th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvain Ries to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didi Papardelas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alianza Trujillo's Iraido Angosto was substituted for Jean-Luc Picard. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Alex Jurca replaced Christian Kabasele. After 87 minutes of play, Piquirenda FC's Eugenio Bernal made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Brandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piquirenda FC's Benigno Claus suffered a concussion after 91 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 92nd minute, Szilveszter Szegh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes in the game Carlos Marchena did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pudes Vilas. The Alianza Trujillo manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Piquirenda FC to win.
