After 24 played minutes Conscio FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Di Marzio. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Seng in the 29th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Elia Albanesi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Conscio FC's goalkeeper Đuro Brezović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Đuro Brezović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ciccio Gelsomini hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Đuro Brezović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. A collision led to Conscio FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cosimo Franco hit a great ball. Edmondo Salemme made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elia Albanesi however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Seng to make the kick off. Boris Flatting struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conscio FC. 63 minutes into the game, Dale Seng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 69 minutes, Dale Seng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conscio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Seng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Đuro Brezović made a huge save. In the 81st minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Đuro Brezović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Eliseo Noboa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Đuro Brezović, passed just outside the right post. Dale Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. In the 91st minute, Dale Seng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball.
