Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Kropotkins pojkar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Santino Seco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 19 minutes into the game, Robin Örtlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of the match. Tahsin Elçioğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tahsin Elçioğlu sent off a good shot on target. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute of play. Per-Arne Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 34th minute of play. The throw-in from Santino Seco in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kropotkins pojkar's Josef Uggla. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's Tahsin Elçioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Colombia booed when Kropotkins pojkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kropotkins pojkar's Josef Uggla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Carballar in the 57 minute of the game. Kropotkins pojkar's Tahsin Elçioğlu suffered a concussion after 62 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 68th minute, Kropotkins pojkar's Mikael Åberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mikael Åberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kropotkins pojkar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mikael Åberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kropotkins pojkar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Per-Arne Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 86th minute of the game Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in which Santino Seco played forward. Samuel Navarro made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kropotkins pojkar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
