The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Ahlqvist got free with Dante Lacasa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Sköll F.C.'s Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dominic Van de Loock, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sköll F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin managed to reach the ball for a save. Iwan Zjawin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Van Deyck. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Zjawin having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Dominic Van de Loock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Dominic Van de Loock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Facundo Cadaval took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Zjawin. Iwan Zjawin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Iwan Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Sköll F.C.'s Ademar da Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Van de Loock was the one to do the kick off. Iwan Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Zjawin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute. Facundo Cadaval made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sköll F.C.'s Anders Ahlqvist. But to his dismay, Anders Ahlqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 76 minutes of play, Sköll F.C.'s Ademar da Costa made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Van de Loock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Facundo Cadaval came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Cadaval couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Iwan Zjawin managed to make a qualified save. Sköll F.C.'s players were relieved.
