With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikuláš Halaj in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Hilario Jesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Malazský paliči mostov.
