Alan Creemers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens Verheecke kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Racing Matinette booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Creemers kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Creemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play forced Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Casper Jans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Ivar Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Axelsson in the 30th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Qu Hong Liang heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Alan Creemers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Racing Matinette:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Jans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Van Cauwenbergh came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Alan Creemers made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alan Creemers came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Racing Matinette fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Creemers couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Axelsson in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Racing Matinette's Casper Jans got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthew Van Cauwenbergh was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Matinette's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd minute Racing Matinette were awarded a corner. Matthew Van Cauwenbergh went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Racing Matinette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Hong Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Jans was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Racing Matinette had played much better football throughout.
